HUBUNGAN PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP PEMBERIAN ASI EKSLUSIF PADA BAYI 6-12 BULAN

Abstrak

Infants who receive exclusive breastfeeding will get health protection from the antibodies present in breast milk, gastrointestinal health, intelligence, and a sense of security and comfort felt by the infant. Exclusive breastfeeding can be interpreted as something done by mothers to provide exclusive breast milk to their infants. Lack of knowledge about the benefits of breastfeeding and low levels of maternal education are causes of low exclusive breastfeeding rates. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal education level and parity on exclusive breastfeeding among infants aged 6-12 months at Beringin Community Health Center. This study was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all mothers with infants aged 6-12 months at Beringin Community Health Center from October 1 to November 30, 2024, totaling 38 people. The results showed a p-value of 0.000 < α = 0.005, which means p < α. There is a relationship between maternal parity and exclusive breastfeeding in the Beringin Community Health Center area.
